The Gumdale House is located on a 2.5 acre block of land – most of it with trees.
Emphasis is on passive environmental design with long north facing walls with appropriate shading to exclude summer sun but to capture winter sun for heating. Building emphasis is to the south where the swimming pool, spa and family activities are centred.
